If you’ve happened to read the “About Me” page, you will know why I decided to start a mobile boutique. If you haven’t read it, here’s the link.
Like I said, I have always had a passion for decorating (and shopping). And was co-owner of a brick and mortar home decor shop. After the shop closed, I realized years later that I really missed it. After deciding to open another shop, I came up with the idea of a mobile boutique. The battle of finding customers and getting them to come into your store is greatly reduced when you’re at a place where people are already shopping. From my past experience of owning a brick and mortar shop, I realized my busiest and most profitable nights were when there were street parties or a festival downtown, where my shop was located.
I purchased an 8’6″ x 16′ enclosed trailer that I have converted into a boutique.
Join me in this series of blogs, as I tell you how I decorated it. First up, (no pun intended) is the ceiling.
